Frequently asked questions

I offer technical and sporting activities in the mountains throughout the year. Climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, via ferrata, ski touring, off-piste skiing, trekking: each discipline has its own season, its own playing fields and its own requirements. I can offer this diversity thanks to my three qualifications: high mountain guide, canyoning instructor and mountain leader. What I like to do is build a complete experience that helps you progress, that is physically demanding and that leaves you with lasting memories. You can come to learn, improve or simply enjoy yourself on a beautiful itinerary. I also offer themed courses to help you go further in an activity and develop your skills over several days.
I'll be taking you all over the Alps, from France to Slovenia. And at least once a year, in the Pyrenees, and of course further afield in Europe too, to continue exploring the riches of our continent. Norwegian fjords, the Scottish Highlands, the cliffs of Wales, the sculpted limestone of Andalusia or Catalonia... The list goes on! Closer to home in the French Alps, I travel from the great classics of the Mont Blanc massif to the wild valleys of the Queyras, via the Écrins, the Vanoise, the Aravis, the Chartreuse, the Maurienne, the Ubaye, the Beaufortain, the Vercors and the Savoyard Foreland. Each massif has its own strong points, its own atmosphere and its own specific terrain. My aim is to be in the right place at the right time, to guarantee the quality of the experience and maximise the pleasure of the terrain.
I chose all these routes for their technical interest, their coherence and their aesthetic appeal. Some of the routes are great classics that every mountaineer should do one day, while others are more discreet, but just as interesting. I look for aesthetic lines, a logical route, a well-defined ridge, a summit that marks out the panorama, a symbolic or historic destination in the mountain world. When I travel, I add a deliberate constraint: no planes, only trains. It's a real choice - for the atmosphere, for the adventure, and because it's much more respectful of the environment. You have to work around the railway lines and the connections, and that often makes for even more interesting projects.
