Yes, absolutely! This introductory course is designed for beginners. No technical level is required, just a desire to climb and discover the activity in complete safety.
Rock climbing can be practised from the age of 6 or 7, depending on the child's motivation. I adapt to the age and level of each individual so that everyone benefits from the experience.
Comfortable sportswear, trainers, water, a small snack and sunglasses. Climbing equipment (harness, helmet, rope, etc.) is provided.
The half-day lasts around 3 hours, from arrival on site, briefing, equipment, climbing and return to the ground. The aim is to have time to learn, climb and have fun.
Like any mountain activity, there are risks, but everything is done to guarantee your safety: I take care of the equipment, the belays and I guide you step by step. The site is chosen to be suitable for a first experience.
A little bit, but you don't have to be an athlete! Climbing is accessible to everyone. I choose easy routes to start with, and everyone climbs at their own pace, with no pressure.
Climbing is a great way to overcome this fear of heights. Being well supervised, progressing at your own pace and staying focused on your movements helps a lot. You never climb higher than you're prepared to go.
Of course you can. Whether you're on your own, in a couple or in a small group, I can adapt. Sessions can be group or private, depending on your needs.
I offer introductory courses at a number of natural sites close to the Chambéry, Chartreuse and Bauges areas: Saint-Alban, Col de l'Epine, Baie de Grésine, Rigauds, etc.
It's best to book a few days in advance, especially in high season (holidays, weekends). For groups or special requests, a little earlier is even better!
Live with your guide, from first contact to the summit.
