Overlooking Saint-Pierre d'Entremont, this via ferrata is in a peaceful setting in the Chartreuse. Accessible and ideal for first-time climbers, it can be combined with a more challenging second section!
From the car park, the 300m ascent is on a fairly steep path. The return is also on a mountain trail, before rejoining the same route as the outward journey. Even the loop of the first part is a nice little mountain outing.

The first part of the via ferrata is accessible to families and of medium difficulty, with a few vertical sections and footbridges.
The second part is difficult, with more physical ladders and aerial sections. It is recommended for those in good physical condition who have already started. We can always take stock along the way, at the end of the first part!
Allow around half a day, 4 to 5 hours for the first part of the via ferrata, including the approach and return. The whole thing takes all day!
